I Survived Surgery And Im Back....Well Sorta????

I Survived Surgery And Im Back....Well Sorta????



I am back from my colon cancer surgery I had last Wednesday. The Dr removed 12 inches from the S base and 6 inches from the transverse colon. I came home last Saturday tired,hungry and just stressed out from being woke up at all hours of the night for BP checks,blood test and a change out of an IV. I had two BP readings of 210/205. I am up and walking 1/4 mile a day to get my intestines working to full capacity.All in all I feel not to bad for a week out.

Looks like I have missed a lot of good news this last week and I hope to start to post again soon.

it was`t that many years that this could`t be done or if it was the recovery time would`t be as fast as it is now..

yup... the worse time with any of my maladies in the hospital was at night. i think they figure if they have to work so do you...

looks like you are on the way to a good recovery!
