Obama should say I have agreed to 4 trillion in spending cuts and changes
to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. All I asked for was special interest tax breaks to be removed from the tax code. That's all Obama can do and leave it at that. People will blame the Republicans if the U.S. defaults and can't mail out Social Security checks or pay Medicare claims.

It's the best that can be done given the situation.

4. I really like the some $4 trillion evisceration of social security, Medicare, and Medicaid for a few...
crumbs: this way the uber-wealthy and large corporations can continue their feeding frenzy sucking at the public welfare teat. It's the shared sacrifice that's so cockle-warming to this bunny because he's beginning to get the eerie feeling that this whole parody was orchestrated from day-one (January 20, 2009). :patriot:

5. or he can advocate for entitlements cuts without dealing with tax policy.
After all, why would he want to get rid of the millionaire tax cuts he pushed for?
