our media.
so i turn on the teevee while i'm cooking and it's on CBS.

they go to bob schieffer for an explanation on why the ceiling debt talks are stalled.

bob tells the host that it's because the republicans won't budge on tax cuts and the democrats aren't willing to put entitlements on the table (paraphrasing).

....................

how can america make an informed opinion when the information they get is wrong. just fucking wrong.

1. In a word, sucks.
The days of in-depth discussion of issues are long gone. I tune in now just to watch how gawdawful it truly is.

5. He put them on the table knowing full well...
The GOP wouldn't take the bait!

:banghead:

I'm really, really tired today... we have this perfect opportunity to force some semblance of honor back on the media... but we're to busy with Obama wants to... Obama intends on... Obama is going to... Obama plans on...

4. You are exactly right!
And we can't expect any better until we take back the media!

Here we have the perfect wedge story to start taking it back, the Murdoch issues, and all you'll find on DU is how Obama has screwed us over SS and Medicare... neither of which he's touched.

Oh... but his "admin sent up a trial balloon!" OMGZ!

:banghead:

I'm so tired of all the hair fires around here. He's going to, he wants to, he means to, he's planning to, he's... you know.

But we have this golden opportunity to get a giant step lead on taking back the media...

But clearly it is far more important to bash Obama around here than to take a giant step toward healing our press!
