2. He's my "representative" -- Thank God he's leaving.
I know a lot of people on our side appreciate his anti-war votes, but this guy is BANANAS! He has one political principal -- Don't Tax Me.

That's why he won't run for reelection.


I'm editing to add that this was expected by many and was the goal of the Texas GOP when they went after his seat.

6. I find this amusing since he just got his chair on Monetary Policy
that he wanted so long to stick it to the Federal Reserve.

His first hearing was a huge flop though. The Fed officials made him look foolish.
