8. He caved on the entire debate and set the terms of surrender.
He "won" the obvious, that the TeaPubliKlans would not be allowed to lose their master's money, fuck up commerce, and make their treasury ATM fees go up. Gotz to have that free money to fund the casino, baby.

10. I don't think the proposal is a good idea. Someone just posted
a thread from an article saying that the idea is to make the Dems raise the debt limit now, in I forget how many months, and in the summer of 2012 - just in time for the elections "The Dems keep increasing the debt limit!"

Regardless, it DOES indicate he didn't 'cave' - otherwise they wouldn't have had to do this.
