It sounds like this guy video-taped himself molesting and raping all those boys, according to the Daily Mail:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2014393/Suspected-paedophile-allowed-watch-child-porn-prison-thanks-sickening-legal-loophole.htmlIs he really going to deny it was him on all the recordings?
What is there to be gained by him personally reviewing every minute detail of the evidence? Couldn't they just provide him a description of what's on the recordings? I mean, they are going to show it all in court anyway, does he really need to go over every second of the footage and sexually excite himself over his collection of victims again and again?
I'm all for a defendant being able to review the evidence against him, but just as they don't have to produce a physical "bloody knife" for the defendant to physically hold and examine in jail, I don't see why they have to let actual porn in there as well. A one-paragraph description of each DVD should be plenty.
But I'm sure jail staff is monitoring him to make sure he isn't masturbating to the material again and again... :eyes:
