AP: The FBI is opening an investigating into News Corp.

They are going to investigate whether they hacked the phones of 9/11 victims. I heard this on CNBC a few minutes ago.

That's that lookin' backwards to the past stuff, isn't it? Instead of lookin' forwards to the future? This could be a very sticky precedent. Proceed very carefully, FBI. Unless, of course, the whole point is to exonerate News Corp. In that case, full speed ahead, and we look forward to a speedy vindication of all their practices so this unpleasantness can be put behind us, and Chuck Todd doesn't have to worry his pretty little head anymore.
