Jobs to Come if and when this green company gets the ball rolling, I used to have a
tiny bit of stock in this company almost 8 years ago but had to let it go, it didn't do all that much. I knew in my gut that I should have just let it ride but decided to get out after doing poorly on some other small stocks. Just didn't have the time or the ambition to keep up with them. Some were in fuel cell cos along with this one. If they do what they say they are going to do it will produce jobs.

My point is that these projects have locations, therefore people in those locations might have something to look forward to. I own zero stocks today, I do not promote anything or anyone for monetary reasons. I put stuff up here that I feel may better the world for ourselves and our children.

Proposed Natchez project:

Natchez Project

Our proposed Rentech Gulf Coast Synthetic Energy Center, or Natchez Project, will be located in Adams County, Mississippi, near the city of Natchez. The 450-acre property has optimal characteristics such as being adjacent to Mississippi River; access to barge, pipeline, and rail transportation, biomass supply; and a Carbon Capture Sequestration solution.
Rentech Strategic Fuels and Chemicals Complex

Rentech initially contemplated a coal-fed facility, which would produce 30,000 barrels per day of synthetic fuels and chemicals and export over 120 megawatts of clean base-load power. The difficult macro-economic and regulatory environments have made seeking financing for such a design challenging. We believe a project of up to 30,000 barrels per day is still a possibility, either as a result of the development of multiple stages of the project, or as conditions related to development and financing of very large projects improve.

In the meantime, Rentech is evaluating alternative configurations that could make the Natchez Project more feasible in the near term. The size of the reconfigured project will likely be at most half the size of the original design. A smaller project would reduce the overall capital cost and help expand our financing options. The designs we are evaluating would allow us to use both our biomass gasification and Fischer-Tropsch technologies. The product mix could possibly include renewable power, specialty chemicals and waxes, along with synthetic fuels, depending on project economics and product demand.
