I had been lying on top of a dead body. Two dead bodies lay on me.

I posted this account--blogged by one of the young survivors--in another thread about Utoya yesterday. There were several shocked replies to that post. So here it is for those who might have missed it.

Before "moving on" from this horror, as we all must somehow, read this:

How do we create a better future in the face of this abomination--this abomination that we know all too well the root causes of? Or does it just take a piece out of us too? How do we survive intact, with hope and tolerance and trust & all that positive stuff, beyond such shattering events?

4. What a horrible experience.

That police uniform got him more victims because everyone was thrown off as he was shooting at them.

He planned his murderous rampage well. He probably wanted to get caught alive, since he seems to be so forthcoming with his story.
