So how far into the future do the neoliberals want to structurally
change this country? They want a long term deal on cuts instead of a short term deal to lift the debt ceiling.

1. Forever....The next generation will see the idea of Democratic Liberal government....
as an anachronism.

God knows what they'll be used to by then, but it probably wonlt be pretty as long as we enable neo-liberals of both parties.

2. About the same as the Pinochet Junta - 17 years seems enough time, don't you think?
We'll reassess the situation when the IMF Executive Board meets in 2028.

In the meantime, no more free milk for school kids. And, about those schools . . .

5. WhooHoo mmonk!
It's the Chicago School of Economics that has been funded by corporate interests that's behind this whole thing...

Did you notice who Paul Ryan was having his $350 bottles of wine with?

A hedge fund manager and an ECONOMIST WHO OCCUPIES THE CHAIR FUNDED BY THAT HEDGE FUND AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS!

Most didn't notice that...Naomi Kline had it right

6. As long as it requires to make us once again an aristocracy.
Ruling Elites over masses of working poor and those
in abject poverty. Before FDR. At the rate we are
moving should not take too long.
