MSN Money actually reported on the real cause of our
Financial "meltdown."

Seriously, I know how they have screwed Cenk and kept their heads buried in the sand, instead of reporting the truth about what happened to our economy and the lack of prosecution under "W" and the continuance of that policy under President Obama.

Here is the link....http://money.msn.com/investing/why-no-ceos-were-busted-post-crisis-bloomberg.aspx?GT1=33002 , I was very surprised to log-on this morning and actually see the headlines of an "MSM" publication in America, reporting the truth about banksters and the total lack of prosecution that is still occurring.

I was released from Vanderbilt hospital last night, I shared a room with a young (49 y.o.) retired studio musician and previous guitar player for some of the "big names" in country music. He, like me, has heart failure. He has no insurance and has been off of his life prolonging medications for months, because he cannot afford them. I occasionally have the same problem. Since he had no insurance, he did not receive a heart catherization to determine and fix his problem.

Instead, he was given large doses of pain and heart medications to stabilize him, so they can release him. It is a story I know intimately.

No health insurance, no real help. He was still hanging on when I left. Like he said, "they'll give you a $5 meal, but not a $5000.00 operation to save your life.

My prayers are with you Bill.

Thanks to my Union paid insurance, I did get another "heart procedure" and came home last night.

Anyway, it was reminiscent of a scene from the movie, "INSIDE JOB," and I was in disbelief to actually read the truth from an MSM publication. It gave me a little hope. Hope that many more Americans read and understood that article.

If so, then they must realize how corrupt our government is, and our only hope is to change it. I do see a slow realization beginning in the eyes of "regular Americans" these days....

1. lost my ability to hope.
I lost hope when learning how the corruption has seeped even into the voting machines. We can vote our asses off to try to affect change, they'll just rig the election. It's already been done.

2. Welcome to DU....
I tend to prop my "hope" up one day at a time if you know what I mean...But It is very easy to see any real change is without that precious little commodity.

Cheers & enjoy the cool weather.

4. pop goes the voting
It has been totally corrupted.

The only way we can get it back is to demand that each Federal office holder can only be elected via a paper ballot that is hand counted.

5. I worked at a voting location in 2000,
and while I heard many disparaging "W" remarks in that small midwestern town that had always voted "R", I did not hear any pro-bush talk; except from the "R" poll workers themselves. I thought it was a "no-brainer", no way was "W' going to be elected, he was a joke. Wow, I sure got a surprise that night and the next day.

Watching "w" tell Reporters, after Florida went to Gore, that Jeb had "promised me Florida" there must be a mistake....,1 phone call and shortly thereafter Florida and a few other states were placed in the "too close to call" category.

The "Brooks Brothers Revolution the next day and then finally, the SCOTUS selection... after decades of extremely accurate television polling...,it was more than obvious that our electoral process was broken.

Hopefully, Americans are certain of this also. As our economy worsens and the decisions in favor of the already wealthy keep racking up along with austerity for the average American..., people are actually questioning the status quo.

I despair daily of Americans ever waking up from their propaganda induced slumber, but I do believe that they are beginning to stir. It will take more agitation and probably someone like anonymous to get them fully awake....somehow, I have believe that the American spirit will soar again.

I know that if Bernie Sanders would primary, many more would wake up. We just have to keep prodding our neighbors until their eyes are open. It will take all of us, and a lot of luck.
