Just 15 customers per screening during its second weekend in theatres.

<snip>
The box office fate of Sarah Palin's bio-documentary The Undefeated has uncannily mimicked the political fortunes of its subject: after a bright start, much publicity and high hopes the film has fizzled out to disappointing reviews and waning popularity.

An opening weekend on limited release saw The Undefeated bring in $63,000 from 10 screens. But despite showing on 14 cinemas the following weekend of 22-24 July, box office takings slumped 60% to just $24,664.

It turns out that The Undefeated was more like the unattended.

According to boxofficemojo.com – which dubbed The Undefeated "deflated" – in 10 days the film grossed just over $100,000 from 13,000 ticket sales and estimated that average audience size was just 15 customers per screening during its second weekend in theatres.

8. Who's bright idea was it to release it the same weekend as Harry Potter?
And these people want to run the government?

31. It wouldn't have mattered
if it had been released the same weekend as a sequel to "Ishtar". It's pure crap, and even the reich wing won't support it, like they did with Mel Gibson's snuff film about Jaysus.

19. I would not be surprised to find out...
...that many of the attendees were there on official business: Secret Service looking to see which lunatics show up, Homeland Security following the Secret Service guy because he looks suspicious, maybe a cult leader looking for followers, definitely some prostitutes, an ambulance-chasing lawyer or two, and their real-estate sales friends, and a low-information voter who was told on Facebook that it's a great film.

Sarah just has better graphics. As for the movie, headline it: "Another Turkey Meets its fate."

Buy a bunch to inflate the sales figures and then pulp them.

32. I love that -- quitter critter! Yes, exactly, the "governor" who abdicated her throne after being
elected by people who had actually taken her seriously as a candidate, believed in her "message," and volunteered for her campaign. Now of course this means they did not have good judgment (to say the least!). They thought she actually cared about something other than herself and her own fame (or rather infamy).

There *may* have been an aura of intrigue amongst the low-information voters. She didn't do that. She and her brood are on the teevee 24/7 grifting for their 15 minutes.

No surprise and couldn't happen to a better person. Reap. Sow.

30. Hmmm, if the Buy 5 movement was a 100% success....
only 2500 actually paid. I'm betting a fair amount of sales were from people who bought a ticket to attempt a sneak-around on a sold out Harry Potter show.

If Palin had a shred of self-awareness, she'd be too embarrassed to ever show her face in public again.

Apparently, most Americans know all they want to know about her.

Enough is enough.
