Wouldn't It Be Awesome If President Obama Spoke like Peter DeFazio?
I am always encouraged by the fact that there are still really good Democrats out there. They may be few and far between, but thank your lucky stars for advocates like Peter DeFazio, Xavier Becerra, Jan Schakowsky, Marcy Kaptur and others who still stick up for the working class, the poor, and just about everyone who isn't a billionaire.

I would like to see President Obama make a speech like this...his popularity numbers would go through the roof:

3. I don't think Obama believes in the message.
That is the ONLY reason why he has been silent for too long. He really does agree with the republican bastard.

I watched him speak this morning on CSpan and was thoroughly impressed. I was hoping someone would have a recap either in text or video but didn't expect it this soon. Thanks for the link.

8. DeFazio is awsome.
In 2010, he defeated a crazed Republican who had piles of out of state funny money which was given him just to defeat DeFazio. While so many Democrats in other States lost their seats to similar extreme and well funded candidates, DeFazio prevailed. Oregon's 4th district prevailed.

13. Proud he's my congressman!
Everytime I've sent his office a message, I've gotten a real reply within a day or two. He's got my vote as long as he runs. Pete's a great guy too! I couldn't believe the kook Robinson actually got some votes.
