Brown does not participate in “It Gets Better” video

No Scott Brown. The Massachusetts congressional delegation recorded a It Gets Better video. Junior Sen. Scott Brown was missing. The senator is opposed to same sex marriage, supports DOMA, and wants a federal amendment banning gay marriage. His spokesperson Colin Reed insists Brown is against bullying “Scott Brown has a strong record at the state and federal level against bullying and believes that all people regardless of sexual orientation should be treated with dignity and respect. His main focus right now is on creating jobs and getting our economy back on track,” Reed said. Sort of dodgy, but I’ll take it. I’ll give props to any Republican who actually says, out loud, that gay kids shouldn’t be harassed.

1. Because he doesn't want it to get better.
“Scott Brown has a strong record at the state and federal level against bullying and believes that all people regardless of sexual orientation should be treated with dignity and respect." Yeah, just so long as they don't get all uppity and start expecting rights and all that. Republicans are the antithesis of "It Gets Better". They're working damned hard to ensure that it won't.
