who would've thunk it? Harry Reid just might be the adult in this situation
He doesn't face voters until 2016.... he can actually do what is right instead of what is politically expedient.

I think the senate passes a sane plan today, then Pelosi delivers enough Democrats to save Boehner from himself.

7. I think what will save our nation, is a clean bill raising the
debt ceiling. Cuts are not going to save us. That's just my opinion.

If he follows the teahadist demands and forces a default, the nation suffers and he knows he's out in a year and a half.

If he uses the Democrats to get around the teahadists, then they'll force him out of the Speaker's chair.

It's a lose-lose situation for him.
