think one's been submitted in the recent week or so. I don't know if there would be enough votes from the Pubs this time or not. The TBers swear they will NOT vote for any increase without corresponding cuts in spending, and some of them swear never to increase it for any reason!

Tom Hartmann just mentioned this on his show. He said Boner brought a bill like that (one page increase to last thru 2013)about 3 weeks ago and all the Pubs voted against it and about 1/2 of the Dems. He said he wasn't sure how a vote like that would go if represented today.

I'd think even Boehner would get behind that. It's something that could get done. He's speaker of the whole house.
