If we're going to do the trillion dollar coin thing, let's do it right.
Make it like one of those giant stone coins they use on the island of Yap. Make it ten feet tall, and carve into the face a set of scenes depicting seminal moments in American history. Then someday when the Treasury is done with the thing, they can donate it to the Smithsonian.

3. Per the law, only platinum coins have no limit on their denomenation.
So it would have to be platinum. If it helps to keep the nation from defaulting, I don't care if it's shaped into a Chinese Throwing Star. Actually, that would make it pretty cool.
