Apple now has more money than the Federal Government
News just reported this morning. And this is at a time when the economy is at another all-year low.

It appears the media has been successful in conditioning people to spend all their money on chinese
made handheld entertainment devices.

A corporation could buy this nation and sell it off piece by piece, sort of what liquidators do. It sounds like something out of a Sci Fi novel, and kind of scary when you think about it.

6. Having more cash-on-hand says nothing about who could buy whom.
The Federal government probably doesn't ever maintain huge reserves
of cash "on the books" of the Federal Government; their cash reserves
are probably used more to smoothen lumps in the cash flow.
