My question is this, why doesn't the "media" get off their asses and take a trip to cities across the country and show what will happen if the default actually occurs.

Show the suffering that all, well most all Americans, will face when the government slowly but surely shuts down.

This is insane, really, the same people who got us too this impasse, whether on purpose of just through a stunning lack of imagination, are telling us how to get out of this mess...

And no one says anything that isn't in the script that is so predictable as to illicit yawns from the country.
