What makes the corporate media speculation believe that the teabaggers in the house will accept "the
deal". From what I have observed in this entire fiasco is that the republicans have no control over the tea party elements, and it is also not evident if there are even enough republicans in the house who have not gone over to the dark side

1. You have a very good point.
Most likely they will not accept it.

5. I have also surveyed other right wing sights and it seems much of the threads there believe the
Democrats have won.

I have no idea, but it is interesting how different sites see different things

6. That is what was said about the Reid plan, that "the more sane", repugs in the house would see it
passed, that speculation sure didn't turn out correct

9. that is not how it works.....
the house took the vote just to puff out their chest. The plan being negotiated now is the Reid plan. It is the same as if the bill was moved to conference.

11. politics or puff out their chest, I still am skeptical that they have the votes in the house. The
republican party, especially in the house, has become so extreme, that it is hard to distinguish the difference between the teabaggers and the republicans in the house

3. They aren't teabaggers any more, they're terrorists.
They are the Terror Party.

4. They only need about 25 (+/-) repukes in the House
to pass any sort of compromise bill. The teabaggers would be irrelevant. Times like this is when they invoke the old Jedi Mind Trick™ by waving the pork in their faces. The teabaggers will refuse it but the rest always have a price as long as they are giving a facing-saving talking-point to go along with it.

7. It was thought that would be the case with the Senate version, and just the opposite happened. It
is also getting more difficult to determine which republicans are sane?

8. That has been my thought also.
Whatever deal they might come up with when it gets to the house the baggers will have another shit fit and continue their obstructionism. Their idea of a good deal is to destroy the American economy. #drowninthebathtub
