It took the Barr/Garland justice department 6 years of investigation to find 2 crimes that they could indict Hunter Biden for.
Hunter Biden goes on trial Monday for lying on his gun application and for possessing a firearm while being an addict, his maximum sentence is 25 years.
This fall Hunter goes on trial for tax evasion for failing to pay 1.4 million dollars in taxes, a sum he later paid plus interest, a crime that is rarely prosecuted.
The Garland DOJ prosecution plans to bring Hunter's ex-wife and girlfriend to court to describe what a horrible person Hunter was while under addiction.
The prosecution must prove that Hunter was aware that he was an addict when he filed his gun application. The fact that Hunter had undergone 11 days of a rehab program may not be allowed to be admitted as evidence because it may have been filed too late.
Hunter had his gun for 3 weeks before his girlfriend threw it in a trash can, I don't think the gun was ever loaded, but that doesn't matter.
If Garland can send Hunter Biden to jail it will be one more person behind bars than was convicted from TSF's inner circle.
Disclaimer: I forgot Peter Navarro got 4 months from Garland's DOJ because he ignored a Select committee subpoena after a criminal referral from the select committee.
Steve Bannon same deal as Navarro who seems to have a knack for avoiding going to jail.
Keep up the good work Garland, I'm sure the Hunter Biden trial will be excellent campaign fodder for TSF. Mr. Weiss, the pro-Trump prosecutor who you made a special counsel did his job.
TSF Is Worse Than A Mob Boss
Andrew Weissmann prosecuted members of the mob and he said he never had the intimidation and threats that he has seen from TSF.
I watched a documentary about Hells Angels motorcycle club. This is how TSF rolls. When someone from Hells Angels is indicted the witness, the family have to be put in safe houses and it is so bad that Hells Angels make law enforcement think twice before going after them. When TSF is indicted, prosecutors, judges, witnesses all need extra protection. Fani Willis not only has extra security she bought her prosecutors bullet proof vests.
If TSF got to be president he would reign like Pinocet.

Show me an old Post of yours where you were OK with Alvin Bragg shutting down the Pomerantz/Dunne prosecution that they had worked 2 years gathering information and evidence. Cy Vance had given them the OK to indict TSF.
Show me your old posts where you posted that Bragg knows what he is doing. Maybe he did know, but Pomerantz and Dunne resigned in protest, even wrote a book slamming Bragg.
I apologized for being wrong about Bragg, he certainly redeemed himself. But back then damn straight I was pizzed at what he did and I won't apologize for feeling that way back then.
Why I Am Standing Up For Michael Cohen
45 years ago in my small town I got a small taste of speaking truth to power, including death threats.
Michael Cohen spoke truth to power to a former president of the United States who could be president again in 5 months.
I listened to him today on Nicolle speaking truth to power about how TSF told Bill Barr to prevent him from being released from solitary confinement keeping him in solitary for another 3 weeks. Cohen spelled it out how evil TSF is. Cohen said that if TSF became president he would have to leave the country because he and his family would not be safe.
I hope people who are undecided about voting listened to Cohen today, he should have scared the living hell out of everyone.
I cannot imagine the pressure that Cohen was/is under taking on TSF, I was scared in my little town, I got a taste, that's why I now respect what Cohen did/is doing.
I read To Kill A Mockingbird many years ago, walk a mile in Cohen's shoes, crawl right into his skin before you criticize him.
About Asking For Jail Time For TSF
I get my news from a handful of sources, this morning while listening to Zarlena Maxwell the topic of jail time came up.
There are guidelines for sentences for felonies. TSF wasn't convicted of one of the most serious felonies, however, with that said, the felony he was convicted of, what he did, his financial fraud which caused him to be elected president is the most serious violation one could have under the felony he was convicted for.
Am I making myself clear enough? Alvin Bragg would be absolutely right to ask for jail time because of the serious nature of the felony TSF was charged for. TSF's financial fraud was the top end of the felony he was convicted for.
I had been saying TSF won't get jail time because of NY law, but is that factual? TSF may actually qualify for jail time under NY law for what he did. 30 days would do him in. Even home confinement with TSF having to wear an ankle monitor would work.
I Refuse To Be Brought Down Debating Magat Talking Points
Yesterday was a glorious day for me, and so is today, nothing has changed, TSF is still a convicted felon.
I get my news from a handful of sources, I don't punish myself listening to right wing talking points. I've seen enough today on DU.
According to TSF the only fair juror is a Magat who voted for him.
According to TSF the only fair judge is a judge who he nominated.
WTF are we debating such nonsense?
I'm off to mail a birthday present to my daughter and will be still celebrating the fact that TSF has finally been held accountable, end of story for me. See ya later DU.
Watch Out For The Polls
I guarantee we will see polls that claim the guilty verdict helped TSF, they will be lying.
The guilty verdict hurts TSF at the polls.
It would be like TSF saying his doctor results came back showing that he had syphilis but then my polls went up.
