Who's REALLY Afraid of Donald Trump?
The only people afraid of Trump are Republican politicians. That's why they've supported him, defended him, and covered for him. They live in constant fear that if they fail to do so, he will ruin their political ambitions by singling them out and speaking against them.
The only people afraid of Trump are Republican co-conspirators who fear being outed as such, and being thrown under the nearest bus if Donald thinks he can save his own ass by doing so.
The only people afraid of Trump are Republican "inner circle" friends, who have seen firsthand how unhinged he has become, and how willing he is to seek revenge against anyone who he perceives to be disloyal.
The only people afraid of Trump are Republican sycophants who live in terror that all of the investigations into his many crimes will lead to investigations into their own crimes.
The only people afraid of Trump are politically ambitious Republicans who brace themselves every time he opens his mouth, realizing that his deranged statements are tarnishing the GOP brand to the point of threatening the party's future survival.
Jack Smith isn't afraid of Trump. Investigators, prosecutors, and judges aren't afraid of Trump. Democrats, liberals, progressives aren't afraid of Trump.

Who could have predicted that the GOP's reaction to Trump's recent indictment would be the smash hit of 2023 summer programming - and yet it is!
This show has everything - from sci-fi scenarios (declassifying documents via mind-meld) to stand-up comedy punchlines ("Bathrooms have locks!" ), from SNL-style satire ("It was the Gazpacho that planted the documents" ) to Survivor type challenges where the audience breathlessly counts how many straws Republicans can grasp at in a single statement.
The program also features magic acts. Watch in amazement as boxes of documents disappear - and then magically reappear in a bathtub! Be awe-struck as evidence of Biden's bribe-taking vanishes into thin air!

Have you noticed that all of your Dear Leader's campaign promises are about 'going after' anyone and everyone who has stood up against him, and getting revenge on his political enemies?
There have been NO promises about doing anything for the benefit of you, his supporters, or the country at large - not word one.
If you haven't noticed, maybe it's time to do just that.

Now that they've seen how relentless, how undeterred, and how thorough Jack Smith has been in investigating the stolen documents case, the Republicans involved in the January 6th insurrection must be scared shitless.
I've no doubt they thought they'd sail through an ineffective special counsel's cursory look at their participation unscathed.
They have now been disabused of that notion.
Is it any wonder that people like Lindsay Graham and Jim Jordan are acting like deranged lunatics in recent TV interviews?
They know what's coming - and it shows.

So looking forward to seeing Kari Lake show up at the Miami courthouse today, armed-to-the-teeth, declaring that everyone will have to "go through her" to get to Trump.
