Who's going to break it to Donald?

Criminal charges don't go away based on how many threats you make against judges, investigators, and/or their families.

"Everyone hates me" is not a viable legal defense.

Mocking the laws you are charged under does not alter those laws, nor their effect, in any way.

No one has ever been exonerated on the basis that someone else did something worse.

No trial is ever dismissed because there's a crowd outside demanding it.

This seems to be Donald's legal strategy - and he probably pats himself on the back every day for being brilliant enough to have thunk it up all by himself!

Only traitors defend traitors.

End of message - 'nuff said.

Edited to Add: I am NOT talking about defense lawyers - I am talking about the Republicans who are currently defending Trump and his treason.

A Word to the Not-So-Wise

Attention Magadonians:

If you are planning to participate in any violence as a result of Trump's indictment and subsequent legal proceedings, you might want to think again - in the same way your fellow 'patriots' currently in prison as a result of their activities on Jan-6 wish they'd thought twice before acting.

The Politicians(R) who are inciting you to violence will not be joining you in whatever you have planned. They will be sitting comfortably in their offices, watching you being arrested on TV. They will then issue statements decrying your treatment - a sure vote-getter in some quarters - and that is where their concern for your welfare will end.

They will not be paying your bail. They will not be paying your legal fees. They will not even bother with the usual 'thoughts and prayers', because your mission to provide them with talking points to raise campaign funds will already have been accomplished.

There is nothing you can do to stop the wheels of justice that are already in motion. So do yourselves a favour and refuse to put yourselves in legal jeopardy for the sake of cowardly Politicans(R) who want you to do the dirty work they would never dream of participating in themselves.

A question about political protocol ...

Are the citizens of Magadonia required to fly their Trump 2024 flags at half-staff - or are they simply expected to clean up the debris left by exploding heads?

On top of all his other troubles ...

... this indictment is going to seriously delay the roll-out of Trump's healthcare plan.

June 7, 2023

"And a man came up to me ...

... tears streaming down his face, and said, 'Sir, I can't believe what they're trying to do to the country's favourite and most innocent president'."

And Jack Smith replied, "Stop groveling and whining, Donald."

Yelping Dogs

As they say, it's the hit dog that yelps - and along with being on indictment watch, I'm keeping my eye on all the yelping dogs.

I don't believe that people like Jordan, Cruz, and Graham are howling incessantly these days out of any loyalty to Trump, or even any sense of fealty to their beleaguered party. They are simply scared shitless of being held accountable for their own complicity in TFG's illegal actions.

No one knows Trump better than those who attached their lips to his ass, in hopes of being rewarded with greater political power in exchange for their willingness to do his bidding.

But being part of that inner circle means knowing without any doubt that Trump will not go down alone. He will expose every single person who acted in furtherance of his crimes - not because he believes it will benefit his defense, but simply because he can.

Donald Trump is a self-absorbed, spiteful narcissist - and no one is more aware of that than the yelping dogs who hope that if they howl loud enough, no one will notice just how terrified they are of being hit.

Attention RW Evangelicals ...

While you've been praying for Trump to be reinstated as POTUS, millions of Americans have been praying for him to be charged and indicted for his crimes.

Given the current news, it seems pretty obvious whose prayers God has decided to answer.

Some snappy slogans to attract tourists to the US this summer

"Come for the mass shootings - stay for the thoughts and prayers!"

"Come for the Jewish Space Lasers - stay for the Gazpacho Police!"

"Come for the climate change denials - stay for the hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods!"

"Come for the good Christian values - stay for the hypocrisy!"

"Come for the book bannings - stay for the illiteracy!"

"Come for the Pride merchandise - stay for the exploding Karens!"

"Come for the woke retailers - stay for the boycotts!"

"Come for the diversity and inclusion - (*this offer void in some states)."

"Come for the most innocent former 'pResident' in history - stay for the indictments and trials!"

Just My Humble Opinion

We are a year and a half away from the 2024 election - and Trump is already sinking into madness. His legal problems have hardly begun, and the evidence against him is mounting on a daily basis.

His lawyers are abandoning him, as he clings to incompetent ass-kissers whose only legal skill is telling him what he wants to hear.

His 'Truth Social' posts are becoming increasingly deranged - his recent statements about "Magadonians" being a prime example of his delusion that he is somehow the head-of-state of some phantasmagorical kingdom that exists only in his own mind.

Trump is losing whatever grasp he ever had on reality - and don't think for a moment that the GOP, along with the "Magadonians", aren't noticing that fact.

Again, we are a year and a half away from the 2024 election. If the current Republican front-runner is already as deranged and delusional as he is right now, where do you think he'll be by November 2024?

The GOP has chosen to support a presidential candidate who could very well be a drooling, incoherent, obviously insane idiot by this time next year - if not sooner.

IMHO, I'm not liking their chances for regaining the White House anytime soon.
