Hannah writes that one hallmark of Totalitarianism is dissolving a distinction between truth and lies, ( news and fake news; facts and alternative facts in today's speak). It is no coincidence that Trump called his megaphone of lies 'Truth Social', just as the Soviets did before him with Pravda (Russian: Правда, IPA: [ˈpravdə] lit. 'Truth')
