She brought up this type of situation during the course of the class; people that go vegetarian often are unaware that it is necessary to watch out for a lack of certain nutrients that are in substantially lower quantities in vegetables. Calcium, some B vitamins, Taurine, for example.
Please have him consult with a nutritionist, the increase of vegetarianism over the last couple decades has resulted in a market for supplements that take care of these.
