As Far As The Orange Defendant's Lawyers Saying Cohen Only Wants Revenge....

I listen to his podcast. Mea Culpa, regularly. I distinctly remember hearing him say in multiple podcasts that he doesn’t want Trump arrested. He wants justice. If I understand correctly, under cross examination, lawyers for the defense tend to ask questions with yes or no answers, or short answers. The witnesses are not allowed to explain their response. However, under redirect, attorneys for the prosecution can question the witness and give them an opportunity to explain their responses under cross examination. I think this will be a banner day for the prosecution.

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard today about Hicks’ and Cheato’s relationship. Did they have an affair? I don’t know, but I’m sure it wouldn’t surprise anyone.

She subtly or not so suddenly seems to be trying to negatively impact Michael Cohen’s testimony & help Vonshitshispants. Then she breaks down and the witness stand. Is she doing that to sort of stay in Cheeto’s Good graces after her testimony?

Question to DU: Do do you think her testimony will be better for the prosecution or the defense?

Joyce Vance Thinks Jack Smith Has Already

Gone to the Solicitor General about Judge Loose Canon, and is ready to go with mandamus, so this is not an idle threat by Jack Smith.. (If that is the correct word to use. I’m not a legal expert or even close). He is waiting (not for long) for her to respond. Neal Katyal was on with her (I like him). He said if it goes to the 11 Circuit, they will make their decision fairly quickly. And even though it is rare for a solicitor general to go ahead with something like this, both Joyce & Neal said they think this will likely happen here (11th Circuit remove her from the case, based on their two earlier slap downs of Canon). When asked if this case could still happen before the fall election, Neil said it absolutely could.

Saw this on Lawrence O’Donnell with Ali Velshi filling in. Sorry for the amateur paraphrasing, but seeing this gave me a little hope.


Edited to add that it was mentioned that once a jury is seated, she could essentially end the case and set TSF free, and there would be nothing Jack Smith could do because of double jeopardy.
